To go with the innovative Idle Stop system of the existing model, the improved single-cylinder, four-stroke engine gets a new chemical treatment for the cylinder, tweaks to the combustion chamber and a revised cooling system.
As a result, average fuel economy increases from 130.1 mpg (2.17 l/100km) to 134.5 mpg (2.10 l/100km).

Honda PCX125 eSP |
The 2012 Honda PCX125 with eSP goes on sale in the UK this summer. A price has yet to be confirmed, but it’s not expected to change much from the current version’s £2,550.
Honda has also announced the larger capacity PCX150, which will be offered in some European markets and North America. The chances of it joining the UK range appear slim, though.
