Following the unveiling of its new 6 saloon in Moscow, Mazda has confirmed that the estate version will be making its debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

Few details have been released, but it is known that both the 6 saloon and 6 estate being exhibited in France will feature Mazda’s new Skyactiv-D 2.2 diesel engine. Expected to account for the majority of sales in Europe, it’s Euro 6 emissions compliant, and buyers will have a choice of two power outputs.

For those customers that don’t like diesel, for now the only alternative is going to be the Skyactiv-G 2.0 petrol motor.

Sales of the 2013 Mazda 6 estate are due to begin before the end of this year.
