Although full specifications have yet to be revealed, the three-strong engine line-up has been announced - and it’s very different from the one that is going to be offered in North America.
The majority of customers will probably opt for either the diesel or normally-aspirated petrol motors, both of which are 2.0 litre boxer units with outputs of 147 bhp (150 PS / 110 kW). For anyone wanting a mix of performance, practicality and off-road ability, then the 2.0 litre direct-injection petrol engine with its turbocharger and 276 bhp (205 kW / 280 PS) could be an appealing choice.
There’s no word yet on likely prices, but more details are expected early next year.
