Built around a double-cradle steel frame, the XV950’s minimalist look is defined by its teardrop fuel tank, 12-spoke cast wheels, low seat height of just 690 mm (27.2”) and lack of chrome.
Power comes from a 942 cc, air-cooled, V-twin engine which produces 51 bhp (38 kW / 52 PS) with 79 Nm (58 lb/ft) of torque. That output is sent to the rear wheel via a five-speed transmission and a belt drive system.
In the UK, the XV950 is priced at £7,199 on the road and buyers have a choice of Midnight Black or Competition White paintwork.
Alternatively, the XV950R costs £7,499. Offered in Camo Green or Matt Grey colour schemes, its additional specification consists of a buckskin-look saddle cover, sportier ‘piggy back’ style rear dampers and a fuel tank stripe.
