2015 Vauxhall / Opel Corsavan unveiled

Several months after the reworked Corsa first appeared, Vauxhall and Opel have revealed a similarly-updated Corsavan. Although refreshed styling is the most noticeable change, the new model’s payload has been increased by 21 kg (46 lbs) to 571 kg (1,258 lbs). Its cargo capacity is 920 litres.

Users will doubtless also appreciate the more supportive seats and improved cabin refinement. Standard equipment is generous enough, as the list includes Bluetooth, a DAB radio, tyre pressure monitoring, six airbags, electric windows and power-adjustable door mirrors.

For anybody wanting more, the Sportive trim grade gains additional luxuries such as sports seats, automatic lights and wipers, cruise control, a heated windscreen and 16” alloy wheels.

There are numerous cost options, too. Among them is a Technical Pack that comprises forward collision alert, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and following distance indicator systems, as well as a rear-view camera.

When UK sales commence in February, Vauxhall Corsavan customers are going to have a choice of three engines. They’re being denied a 1.4 litre petrol alternative that’s available with the Opel version, though.
